Our hand crafted rugs are meticulously hooked, woven and tufted by skilled artisans with the power to transform an ordinary space into something spectacular. Created in India, these intricate rugs provide a livelihood to villagers. Empowering freelance artisans to become business owners, especially women below the poverty line, increases their earning potential while establishing them as leaders within the artisan community. We regularly conduct Weavers Engagement programs, health camps, artisan cards, and more in order to enhance their skill set, morale and self-sustainability. Reaching out to remote rural areas and establishing bonds within village communities, enables them to start weaving not just rugs, but also their own futures.
Rug weaving significantly impacts poverty elevation and skill development for illiterate and impoverished people, especially women, inhabiting remote areas. It enables the poor to acquire practical skills within their own homes while also providing flexible work hours and output based wages. A portion of these profits are dedicated to this artisan work program, healthcare programs and preventative awareness, literacy education, financial and legal support, personal empowerment and vocational training.
